Pure Beauty is owned by Beauty Therapist Jennifer Inglis, who has been in the beauty industry for 15 years; qualifying from Dundee College in 1995 with City and Guilds Beauty Therapy and Electrical Epilation. After work experience at a health farm Jennifer knew she would prefer working in beauty salons, where she could still give relaxing treatments but could build up relationships with her clients.
After working in a salon in Montrose, Jennifer was offered the opportunity to work in one of the best salons in Dundee, where she worked for over 7 years gaining valuable experience.
In September 2003 she struck out on her own and opened Pure Beauty within Red Hairdressing in Invergowrie. As the business expanded it became necessary to add a second treatment room, so Pure Beauty moved to it’s own premises at 318 Perth Road, Dundee on 17 July 2007.
Pure beauty offers all aspects of beauty treatments in a relaxing environment.

Fifteen years on from qualification and my enthusiasm continues to grow for my work, I love to help people feel relaxed and good about themselves whether it is through massage, manicure, facial or even eyebrow or leg wax, surprisingly clients find the treatments relaxing because it is time for themselves.
I am privileged to have had the opportunity to volunteer to provide a morale boosting service to help women feel good about themselves as they deal with cancer through the Look Good...Feel Better program (www.lookgoodfeelbetter.co.uk) run at the Maggie Centre, Dundee (www.maggiescentres.org), where I have been able to share my knowledge and teach make-up techniques to help these ladies face the world.”

Pure Beauty is based in an old building up 6 steep steps and with narrow doorways, and is therefore not accessible to wheelchairs. If this would prevent you coming into the salon and you live within a 5 mile radius of Perth Road please call to arrange a home visit. Due to the equipment involved it may not be possible to deliver all of our treatments in a client's home but we will do our best to ensure we meet all your beauty needs.
